Communify

Robert Sommer is an Episcopal deacon living on the central coast of California. He graduated from Vanderbilt University and began a career in international trade and hi-tech. Throughout his life and career, he lived in several countries and continents, then returned to California where he answered a call to ordained ministry. After graduating from the Episcopal School for Deacons in Berkeley, California, he was ordained in 2011 and began pursuing his passion for both Latino ministry and gang prevention. Currently, he lives in Monterey and works both in banking and in the community with immigrant and non-immigrant young adults.
